Time: This class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 PM-8:30 PM
Location: The Mud Room North, 1831 N Killingsworth St
Dates: May 12th, 2026-June 18th, 2026
Cost: $490 + $25 for your first bag of clay
Before signing up, we encourage you to make sure that you can make it to every class. We have found that learning pottery with a teacher present yields the best student outcomes. More good habits and fewer bad ones. Our class model has twice-weekly sessions and no open studio—we emphasize hands-on instruction to help you really learn. Our teachers are there for you.
A little about your instructor:
This course will be taught by Ryan Zweber (they/them).
Ryan brings over 12 years of experience in ceramics, evolving from the early days of crooked pinch pots to mastering the complexities of crystalline glaze chemistry. Passionate about sharing their knowledge, Ryan is committed to helping students discover techniques that suit their unique bodies and creative styles. Their teaching is rooted in the fundamentals and encourages curiosity, experimentation, and a deep sense of community.
