A little about your instructors:

Sadie (she/her):

Sadie is a passionate ceramic artist with five years of experience and a background in study and assistant teaching at the University of New Hampshire. She’s eager to share her skills with The Mud Room community! Over the years, Sadie has worked as an assistant teacher, glaze tech, kiln manager and studio assistant—roles that have deepened her love for pottery and creative growth.

Her teaching style is playful and supportive, focusing on wheel-throwing basics while encouraging creativity and exploration. Sadie’s goal is to help students discover a love for ceramics and express themselves through clay.

Prudence (she/her):

Prudence discovered her passion for clay through handbuilding and has been honing her skills on the wheel since 2019. She found both consistency in her practice and a strong ceramic community through her membership at The Mud Room. Prudence loves exploring new techniques and experimenting with different ceramic methods. As an instructor, she is dedicated to fostering curiosity and guiding students towards their unique ceramic goals.
