Intermediate Seminar - Tuesday+Thursday Mornings in October/November
Exclusively for Current Members of The Mud Room SE & North: Refine a specific pottery skill in just one week with our new seminar-style class!
Whether or not you’ve worked with Ron yet, you’ve likely heard murmurs around the studio—he’s a master potter with over 35 years of teaching experience. We’re thrilled to bring our beloved mudpuppies this opportunity to learn from him. This won’t be a regular class on our schedule, so if you’re interested, now is the time to reserve your spot.
How it works:
Each week-long session meets twice—Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM-12:30 PM. Tuesday will focus on instruction, demos, and Q&A with Ron, with a bit of time to practice. Thursday will be open practice time with 1-on-1 guidance. You can register for any single week (or multiple weeks) based on the topics you’re most excited about.
Please note: This is a BYOC (bring your own clay) class. Students will use their own shelf space for in-progress work. While sessions take place at the SE studio, North members are welcome—limited overflow shelf space will be available for North members during their registered week.
Time: This class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM-12:30 PM
Location: The Mud Room SE, 2011 SE 10th Ave
Cost: $95 per week
Dates & Weekly Themes:
Week 1: Lidded Jars — October 21 & 23
Week 2: Moon Jars — October 28 & 30
Week 3: Tap Centering & Trimming — November 4 & 6
