Create your own charming ceramic bells—.perfect for decorating your home, garden, Christmas tree, or gifting to someone you love
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to handbuild bells using simple slab and pinch techniques. We’ll guide you through forming the bell shape, refining the texture and decoration, and creating a clapper that produces a gentle, resonant sound. You’ll also have the opportunity to personalize your bells with carving tools and colorful underglazes.
Each participant will make 1 or 2 bells, depending on size and complexity. All materials—including clay, tools, and firing—will be provided. After class, we’ll glaze and fire your pieces and let you know when they’re ready for pickup.
Please note: We will do our best to have these ready by Christmas.
This is a peaceful and creative workshop, perfect for beginners or anyone looking to make something beautiful and functional by hand.
Date: Saturday, December 6th from 12-3:30 PM
Location: The Mud Room North, 1831 N Killingsworth Ave, Suite D. Please note the location, as we have two studios.
This class will be taught by Sarah Bond.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least two weeks before the class start date. After this time, we cannot offer refunds or reschedule your spot for any reason, including illness. Please note that there is a $15 processing fee for all refunds.
If you have to miss a class due to illness, we are unable to offer refunds or credits. If your teacher is unable to attend class, we will do our best to arrange for a substitute. If a substitute teacher is not available, we will reschedule the class for a later date.
