Handbuilt Lamps
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll use handbuilding techniques to create your very own custom lamp. We’ll guide you through pinching, coiling, and carving to help shape and assemble a functional and stylish piece.
You’ll gain skills in creating texture, building form, and designing with function in mind. Each student will create one lamp, resulting in a beautiful personalized piece to light up your space.
We’ll provide clay, tools, lamp kits, and lightbulbs, and we’ll walk you through the assembly process during class. Please note: lampshades are not included, so feel free to source your own to make your lamp truly unique!
This workshop is great for beginners and those with some clay experience. After class, we’ll fire and glaze your lamp, and notify you when it’s ready for pickup.
Date: Sunday, November 16th from 10 AM-1 PM
Location: The Mud Room North, 1831 N Killingsworth Ave, Suite D. Please note the location, as we have two studios.
