Beginner Handbuilding - Tuesday+Thursday Evenings in July/August

$420.00

This is a twice-weekly course that lasts for 5 weeks held at The Mud Room North.

Perfect for beginners or for those looking to refresh their skills. In this class you will have the opportunity to make functional wares as well as decorative pieces, all built with your beautiful hands! We will cover various techniques like coil building, slab building, and carving. You’ll also learn to glaze your pieces. After learning the basics, your teacher will support you in finding and creating projects of your own. This class is also recommended for those who are looking to make friends, as it is a fun and social environment.

Class is every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8:30 PM at The Mud Room North: 1831 N Killingsworth Ave, Suite D.

Dates: July 8th-August 7th

Before signing up, we encourage you to make sure that you can make it to every class. We have found that learning pottery with a teacher present yields the best student outcomes. More good habits and fewer bad ones. Our class model has twice-weekly sessions and no open studio—we emphasize hands-on instruction to help you really learn. Our teachers are there for you.

This course will be taught by Sadie Lorenz.
